The Virginia Correctional Association is a time-honored professional organization which goes back 44 years. VCA, Established in 1979 as a state chapter affiliate of the American Correctional Association (ACA). We will continue to highlight the remarkable collaboration and innovation that define both our local chapter and the collective efforts of membership of ACA while providing more focus on the combined goals of both organizations. At the heart of VCA is the belief that together we can maintain an effective criminal justice system by providing training and assisting in the professional growth of all our members.
